her experience at bethesda was a harrowing but depressingly familliar one filled with a sudden loss of respect by her superiors, public outing by her manager, falsified reports on her yearly review to convince corporate that she was a liability...
i struggle to find the words to descrive how i felt going through it all.

Learning more and more about how much AAA just throws bright-eyed and talented artists / programmers into meat grinders and trash compactors, especially women, LGBTQ+ and other minorities, is just enforcing how happy and even privileged I am to be able to work for myself in indie development.
I hope to God that Rightstick can grow and flourish without succumbing to this inhumane bullshit, and can serve as a safe haven for my fellow game development enthusiasts regardless of whom they are or what they identify as.
